Vprašanje: Zanima me, ali je psička v času menstruacije že pripravljena na parjenje, oz. koliko časa po menstruaciji se to zgodi. Danes mi je namreč psička pobegnila, zato me zanima, kako lahko najhitreje ugotovim, ali se je sparila?
Odgovor: Gonitev pri psih običajno traja med 10 in 21 dni (odvisno od posamezne psice, vendar je ponavadi pri isti psici to obdobje vedno enako dolgo). Prvo znamenje, da je nastopila gonitev, je rahel izcedek ali bleda rumenkasta sluz, ki se izloča iz nožnice. Po dnevu ali dveh izcedek postane krvav.
Tu je potrebno povedati, da krvavenje pri psicah ni enako menstruaciji pri ljudeh. Pri (človeski) menstruaciji se s krvavenjem v bistvu izloča čišča iz maternice. Menstruacija nato neha in čez čas se pojavi ovulacija. Pri psih pa temu ni tako. Tam se pojavi krvavenje (temu se zaradi drugačnega procesa in frekvence ne reče menstruacija, temveč gonitev), ki po malem traja ves čas gonitve. Ovulacija (obdobje, ko je psica pripravljena na paritev) nastopi med 9. in 14. dnem od začetka krvavenja, krvavi izloček takrat postane bister in sluzast (še vedno je rahlo rdeč).
Z ultrazvokom lahko brejost ugotavljamo 25. do 31. dan po paritvi. Zato svetujem, da se 25 dni po datumu, ko sumite, da je do paritve prišlo, oglasite pri svojem veterinarju (25. dan je najbolj primeren za ultrazvočni pregled).

Zanima me kolikokrat na leto imajo psičke ovulacijo (menstruacijo)? Koliko časa preteče med vsako ovulacijo? Kako psičko pariti če ni zainteresirana za nobenega psa? Ali ta izcedek smrdi?

Psičke imajo gonitev (in ovulacijo) 2x letno. Običajno je med gonitvama 5-6 mesecev premora. Morda ima izcedek svoj vonj, vendar ne smrdi. Psičke se začnejo za pse bolj zanimati ob gonitvi, zaskočiti in oploditi pa se pustijo šele v pravi fazi pojatve, to je ponavadi od 9. dne po začetku krvavitve naprej, najprimernejši čas pa je mogoče ugotavljati z brisom celic nožnice ali hormonskim testom.

Zanima me kdaj ( pri kateri starosti ) imajo psičke prvič menstruacijo? Kako močan je ta izcedek? Ali ji moram kako pomagati? Prosim če mi napišete čimveč o tem saj imam psičko prvič in mi o tem ni nihče nič povedal… Že vnaprej najlepša hvala.

@Katja: psičke spolno dozorijo pri starosti med 5-8 mesecev, to pomeni, da imajo takrat tudi prvo gonitev, ki se kaže s krvavitvijo. Izcedek izteka po kapljicah, v primeru, da je zelo močan, lahko damo na zadnji del oblačilo (npr. stare spodnje hlače) in vato ali gazo za pivnanje izcedka.

Pozdravljeni, mene pa zanima, kdaj (pri kateri starosti psičke) je najprimernejši čas za sterilizacijo? Veterinar mi je rekel, naj jo pripeljem, ko bo stara 10 mesecev in jo bodo takrat pregledali, če je že dovolj razvita za poseg. Moti pa me to, da je psička spolno zrela že pri 5-8 mesecih; torej lahko že pred 10. mesecem 1. zanosi? Tega mi veterinar ni omenil.

Imam psičko mešane pasme. ( Njena mama je Labradorka ). Stara je slabih 7 let. Skoraj vse njene gonitve se ne ujemajo z datumi. In tudi to leto me skrbi.
Pomladi je bila gonitvena od 10.04. do konca aprila. November je pri kraju in o gonitvi še ni kaj opaziti. Sicer nikoli ni imela mladičkov in je zelo vesele narave. Zelo je močna in polna energije. Nikoli še ni bila bolana. Zdaj me skrbi. Bi morala k veterinarju ?

Imam nemško bokserko, staro dve leti in 4 mesece. Danes je 15 dan gonitve in ko smo jo pripreljali k 3 letnemu samcu je izgledala precej “za stvar”. Žal pa se je zalomilo s samcem, ki se je hotel samo igrati. Pri spomladni gonitvi je bil najbolj pravi dan 16 in 17. Pri njem smo bili že 2x, včeraj in danes, a izgleda kot da se ne zna spravit k stvari. Tu in tam jo naskoči, a to bolj od strani kot pa da se primerno postavi. Zanima me, ali je pametno da ju pustimo preko noči skupaj ali ne? Nekateri so mi svetovali da ja, veterinar ni bil ravno navdušen nad idejo. Oba sta izredno miroljubna in igriva, popolnoma nenapadalna. Naša je navajena hiše, samček boksa. Kje bi bilo bolje da ju pustimo, pri njem v boksu ali pri nas v garaži ali pri njih v garaži?
