Bliža se valentinovo ter nova darilna norija za vse zaljubljene, za prijatelje in hmmm… morda tudi za kosmate štirinožce?
Iz radovednosti sem pregledala splet in ugotovila, da se stvar prijemlje tudi v Sloveniji. Resda počasi, a vseeno. V bistvu sem bila prijetno presenečena. Na enem izmed slovenskih pasjih forumov imajo namreč dobrodelno valentinovo akcijo. Poleg tega na preprodaja.net nekdo prodaja rabljen valentinov plašček, potem pa se (spletna) ponudba v naši deželici počasi konča.
Čez lužo, od koder prihaja navada obdarovanja hišnih ljubljenčkov, pa imajo precej bolj pestro ponudbo, ki je osredotočena predvsem na pse in mačke.
Valentinovo darilo za vašega psa
Ste razmišljali, da bi obdarili svojega psa? Če ste pripravljeni odšteti od nekaj deset do sto in več dolarjev, lahko izbirate med različnimi darilnimi paketi za pse.
Za 100 dolarjev boste tako svojemu kužku lahko kupili darilni paket, ki vsebuje Bow Wowz Gormet piškotke, Cassidy’s Gourmet miks piškote, posladke babice Lucy, Dapper Dog Gourmet modre pasje piškote, veliko enojno vrečko pasjih piškotov, piškote z arašidovim maslom, shranjevalno škatlo z velikim odtisom pasje tace in ročno napisano darilno sporočilo, ki je pritrjeno na darilni paket.
Med 10 in 90 dolarji boste odšteli tudi za pasje oblekice in modne dodatke.
Tisti z bolj plitkvimi žepi ali oni, ki bi vse skupaj vzeli bolj za šalo kakor zares in pri tem ne bi radi pretirano zapravljali, pa lahko svojemu kužku kupite katero izmed nenavadnih igrač. Le-te vas bodo stale med 5 in 45 dolarji, ali obeske za ovratnico, za katere boste odšteli okoli 5 dolarjev.
Brez valentinovega srčka seveda ne gre. Te najdemo v raznih barvah in materialih, nekateri pa celo govorijo.
Med predlogi, kaj bi psu lahko podarili za valentinovo pa se najde tudi sladoled ali valentinovi kolači, vendar vas moram tu opozoriti, da je čokolada psom lahko smrtno nevarna. Zato jim je ne dajajte, kajti v tem primeru se bo valentinovo za vas, predvsem pa za vašega kosmatinca kaj klavrno končalo! Zato za vso hrano prej preverite, ali je primerna za pse!
Valentinovo darilo za vašo muco
S čim pa lahko za valentinovo obdarite vašo muco? Kupite ji lahko npr. tunel ali igralno škatlo, kjer mora mačka uloviti hrano. Za oboje boste odšteli okoli 30 dolarjev. Približno pol ceneje boste prišli skozi s skodelico za hranjene, ki ima obliko srčka. Za pet do deset dolarjev pa lahko vaši muci kupite razne izdelke in igrače različnih oblik, izdelane iz mačje mete.
Naj se Valentinovo ne konča pri veterinarju
Nikar ne pozabite, da psi in mačke niso ljudje. In zato določeni predmeti ali izdelki, ki si jih ljudje podarjamo med seboj, niso primerni za hišne ljubljenčke. Pozorni morate biti predvsem na:
- čokolado, ki je kljub prijetnemu okusu za pse in mačke lahko strupena, saj vsebuje teobromin in kofein. Sestavini sta stimulanta, ki sta lahko nevarna ali celo usodna za vašega psa ali mačko.
- rože: z določenimi rožami se lahko živali, ki jih pojejo, tudi zastrupijo. Še posebej strupene so lilije.
In še moj predlog…
Tukaj je bilo naštetih nekaj - marsikomu verjetno hecnih - predlogov. Namen je bil predvsem predstaviti, kaj vse se po svetu najde in kako znajo trgovci izkoristiti vsak praznik ali običaj na 1001 (tudi hecen) način. Dejstvo pa je, da vaši kosmatinci ne vedo, kaj je valentinovo in kaj pomeni. Najbolj so veseli vaše pozornosti med vsakdanjo nego, igro in sprehodi… zato jim dajajte predvsem to… in če se le da, jim to dajajte vsak dan, ne le na posebne dni v letu.
Če pa kosmatinca še nimate, a si ga vseeno želite, lahko greste tudi v katero izmed zavetišč in eni izmed zapuščenih živali ponudite svoj, topel dom. Seveda le, če imate pogoje za to in veste, da boste za izbranega kosmatinca lahko dobro in odgovorno skrbeli.
Sama sem obiskala Ljubljansko zavetišče na Gmajnicah. Tukaj je nekaj kosmatih brezdomcev….
Levo: Veter je srednje velik dolgodlaki samček. Je kastriran, rojen pa je okoli februarja 2006. Ko sem ga obiskala, je bil zelo živahen in je pokazal, kako pozdravi obiskovalce.
Sredina: Odi je večji samec. Je kastriran, njegov približni datum rojstva pa je junij 2006.
Desno: Pipi me je pozdravil z lajanjem. Je samček, tudi kastiran, rojstni dan nekje okrog julija 2007.
Chanell je večja samica s kratko dlako bele barve. Podobna je švicarskemu belemu ovčarju; je sterilizirana, približen datum rojstva pa je februar 2005.
Levo: Nežka je velika črna samica s kratko dlako. Tako kot ostale psice v zavetišču, je tudi Nežka sterilizirana, stara pa je približno 1 leto. Ko sem jo slikala, me je gledala in se verjetno sprašavala, le kaj dela ta oseba s to črno stvarjo, ki se bliska.
Sredina: Jimi - srednje velik samček, črne barve z rjavimi nogami. Je zelo živahen in ima veliko energije. Je kastriran, približen datum rojstva pa je avgust 2007.
Desno: Kot izkušen model je Koc pogledal v daljavo, da bi naredil kar najboljši vtis. Je prijazen črno-rjav mešanček s srednje dolgo dlako.
Anča… in Kaja. Dve izmed mlajših prebivalcev zavetišča. Približen datum rojstva je oktober 2007.
